Beaverlac is tucked high up in the Olifants River Mountains above Porterville in the Western Cape in South Africa, It is situated in a secluded 5000 hectare valley surrounded by mountains, is blessed with two rivers, the Ratel (Honey Badger) and the Olifants.

I visited Beaverlac in early 2021 with my family, this print is a depiction of my children and their grandparents toasting marshmallows around the campfire which is reflecting off of the surrounding foliage.

This is a 6 layer reduction lino-cut print (approx 10 colours in total.)
