Over the Road - Lino Print

Limited edition of 3. Reduction print on Japanese Hosho (6 layers)

This print was conceived during the first UK-wide lockdown. Like a large majority of the world's population I was staring out of the window feeling very disconnected from the world and it's inhabitants.

Firstly, I was struck by the amazing sky infused with deep blues and bright pinks, then became aware of all the other houses full of people no doubt feeling the same. Each house's story is also etched on it's facade, some well looked after, some in need of care...but all providing a safe shelter - something not to be taken for granted.

This is a 6 layer reduction lino-cut print

Limited edition of 3 prints, printed on off-white Japanese Hosho paper using Cranfield Caligo oil-based relief inks.

Paper size is 40cm x 29cm, printed area is 34 x 24cm.
